Alastair  is up for promotion in the new Castleville Quest. Now players can start performing the following task for the Trial by Magic Castleville Quest: Good Tidings, Ivory Tower, Mind Games, Spring De-Cleaning, A Familiar Face, E.S.P., Material Boy, Towering Above and Promote Good Wizards.



Trial by Magic 1 of 10 Quest: Castleville Good Tidings

Description: Fantastic news! The Mages’ Guild is considering ME for a promotion to the level of First Class Mage! I think celebrations are in order.

Task:

Craft 4 Dye Kits

Craft 2 Ice Cream Cones

Harvest 8 Wheat

Reward:

85 xp, 4250 coins

Trial by Magic 2 of 10 Quest: Castleville Ivory Tower

Decription: Every Wizard that’s ever achieved the level First Class Mage has a Mage Tower. It stands to reason a Mage of my esteem should have one too!

Task:

Have foundation for Mage Tower

Craft 3 Hammers

Mine 12 Gloomed Rocks

Reward:

85 xp, 4250 coins

Trial by Magic 3 of 10 Quest: Castleville Mind Games

Description: My first trial for the Mage Aptitude Test has arrived: Mental Weight Lifting! I was a pro mindbuilder back at the Mage Academy. I’m sure I’ve still got it!

Task:

Craft 2 Anvils

Craft 3 Steel Bars

Collect 20 Milk Bottles

Reward:

105 xp, 5250 coins

Trial by Magic 4 of 10 Quest: Castleville Spring De-Cleaning

Description: A representative of the Mages’ Guild is coming HERE to inspect my House! Its current state is far too… clean for a Wizard. Let’s make it look a little more Wizardy.

Task:

Have 15 Meteorite

Craft 1 Purity Wand

Collect 15 Down Feathers

Reward:

105 xp, 5250 coins

Trial by Magic 5 of 10 Quest: Castleville A Familiar Face

Description: I’ve been thinking about getting a familiar for awhile now. The Mages’ Guild inspector will expect me to have one, so I have to choose fast!

Task:

Craft 5 Animal Treats

Cast the Lucky Rainbow spell 1 time

Tend any 25 Animals

Reward:

65 xp, 3250 coins

Trial by Magic 6 of 10 Quest: Castleville E.S.P.

Description: The second trial in the Mage Aptitude Test is a test of Mind Reading. This is a feat I try to avoid doing as it tends to drain the caster of magical energy.

Task:

Craft 4 Fairy Elixir

Craft 3 Fish Fillets

Harvest 20 of any crop

Reward:

105 xp, 5250 coins

Trial by Magic 7 of 10 Quest: Castleville Material Boy

Description: The Mages’ Guild only promotes Wizards who use their powers for good, not evil. I must prove to them that I am above all material temptations and cannot be swayed!

Task:

Have 12 Love Letters

Craft 1 Carrot Cake

Tax 15 Houses

Reward:

105 xp, 5250 coins

Trial by Magic 8 of 10 Quest: Castleville Material Boy

Description: The final trial for the Mage Aptitude Test is the test of Bravery. The Mages’ Guild wants to see that I am willing and able to protect my Kingdom.

Task:

Use 2 Gloom Thief Morphers

Sell 2 Swords

Banish any 5 Beasties

Reward:

85 xp, 4250 coins, Castle Berry Punch

Trial by Magic 9 of 10 Quest: Castleville Towering Above

Description: While we wait to hear back from the Mages’ Guild we should finish this Mage Tower. Then everyone will know a First Class Mage protects this Kingdom!

Task:

Complete Mage Tower

Craft 8 Sweet Buns

Collect 13 Beeswax

Reward:

105 xp, 5250 coins

Trial by Magic 10 of 10 Quest: Castleville Promote Good Wizards

Task:

Have 10 Enchanted Ink

Craft 1 Flag

Visit 5 Neighbors’ Kingdoms

85 xp, 4250 coins
