Castleville An Illumination Education Quest
(Alastair Questline)
Part of being a great mage is learning how to use Magic Torches and Alaistair will teach us in Castleville an Illumination Education Quest. It is a short 4 part mission where players will be learning how maximize the use of Magical Torches. What it’s effect and the types of it. This will be automatically unlock once you finish quest 2 of Rafael’s Big Proposal or placing the Magic Torch Shop. Reminder be careful on placing the Magic Torch because once placed it cannot be moved or removed until it expire (4 hours or so).
Quest 1: Castleville First Rule Of The Magic Torch Shop
– The Magic Torch of Romance produces Love Diamonds from any house within its range of power.
Task:
Craft 1 Magic Torch of Romance
Place 1 Magic Torch of Romance near Houses
- Once you place it you cannot remove it (until it expire around 4 hours or so) or relocate it so be sure to place it near houses.
Tax 1 House affected by the Magic Torch of Romance’s Glow
Reward:
40 xp, 2000 coins
Quest 2: Castleville Power in Numbers
– Magic Torches are more powerful in groups! Place multiple Magic Torches of Romance next to the same house to see what happens when you tax it!
Task:
Craft 4 Magic Torches of Romance
- Magic Torches of Romance can be crafted in the Magic Torch Shop.
Place 4 Magic Torches of Romance near one House
Collect 5 Love Diamonds
- The more Magic Torches of Romance in the same area, the more Love Diamonds per tax!
Reward:
50 xp, 2500 coins
Quest 3: Castleville Magic Speed
– Place a Magic Torch of Haste near crafting buildings such as the Workshop, Kitchen, or Studio to reduce the time it takes to craft in them.
Task:
Craft 3 Magic Torches of Haste and Place near Crafting Buildings
- Magic Torches of Haste can be crafted in the Magic Torch Shop. Remember to place it near crafting building!
Craft 2 Iron Bars
- Iron Bars can be crafted in the Workshop. Place a Magic Torch of Haste near a Workshop to reduce crafting time.
Craft 2 Berry Scones

Craft 5 Magic Torches of Romance and Place near Houses
- Remember to place it near houses!
Craft 5 Magic Torches of Haste and Place near Crafting Buildings

Clear 10 expired Torches
