Farmville 2 Country Escape has just released anew event for the Halloween. The event will alow you to collect Treat or Tricks Bags and decorate your farm with pumpkins. You can also win an exclusive Black Cat for finishing the map.
Requirements: atleast level 12, Y=you will receive a pop-up message telling you a bout the Cuntry escape Halloween event.
Note: You might have to close the game to receive and see the update. Just in case FREE up some your mobile device memory or reboot your device.
Key points of the Halloween Event:
– You will have 24 days to finish the Halloween quests to win an exclusive Black Cat.
– You will travel through a map, craft trick or treats bag to find costume parts for your farm animals.
– You need to travel up to the end of the map to win the Black Cat.At sometime, some areas will be locked. It will be ope for a particular event. You can view the time by just tapping on the lock in your game.
– On the second tab you can see what costume your are currently doing. Tap each costume to see where you will be crafting the Trick or Treat bags. It will also show where you can find the costume pieces.
How to Play:
- Send your Farm Hands to find rare Halloween Event items.
- Craft rare Halloween crafts and trade them for Trick or Treat Bags.
- Open the bags to earn a chance for Animal Costumes and other rewards!
- Earn an exclusive Black Cat by collecting all the animal costumes!
Tip:
Purchase the Tabby Cat for a better chance at finding Halloween Event items! Animal costumes will be stored away for next year after Halloween is over.
Trick or Treat Bags:
– Every animal on the map will need costume. The first 2 Cow and Chicken, you will be crafting Candy apples in the Stovetop to get Trick or Treat bags. Trick or Treat bags contains assorted items like coins, prized animals feed and costume pieces. You will need to craft Trick or Treat bags to find these items.
– Everytime you find a pieces or parts of the costume you will notice a change in appearance of your animals.
Fog:
– a boost that can be bought for coins. It will give you twice the amount of Halloween Event items when activated. Sometimes “Fog” will appear for “FREE” and will last for an hour. Enabling push notifs will give you a notification if the fog is free.

- Orange Zest: Harvest Lemon Trees

- Use a Fog Cauldron (open the map to find the Fog Cauldron which will boost you for an hour)

Into the Woods (1 of 1)
- Collect Dry Milk (explore Grandma’s Glade, Pappy’s Pond, Merryweather Mine, or Pier)
- Gather Confectionary Sugar (harvest Wheat)
- Make 1 Candy Corn (in Pastry Oven)
Revenge is Sweet (1 of 1)
- Collect Molasses for a special treat (explore Grandma’s Glade, Pappy’s Pond, Merryweather Mine, or Pier)
- Gather Condensed Milk (tend cows)
- Make 1 Black Licorice (in Dinner oven)
Quite the Night Owl (1 of 1)
- Collect Cocoa Beans (explore Grandma’s Glade, Pappy’s Pond, Merryweather Mine, or Pier)
- Gather Vanilla Beans (harvest bee hive)
- Make 1 Dark Chocolate Bar (in Dairy)
The Witching Hour (1 of 1)
- Collect Cornstarch (explore Grandma’s Glade, Pappy’s Pond, Merryweather Mine, or Pier)
- Gather Orange Zest (harvest Lemon trees)
- Make 1 Peach Gummy (in Dairy)
You can track your Jack o Lanterns progress (the ones you will find inside the Trick or Treat bag) in a progress bar. Each level you attain in the Jack o lantern bar will decorate your farm with pumpkins.
Once you completed the whole map you will receive an exclusive Black Cat as your reward. You can also find a Cat Cabin for coins at the Market.
Activated halloween fog and now I can’t get halloween items anymore. That’s a bit lame considering it’s supposed to be a boost.
HELP WITH MOLASSES. I have been stuck on molasses for two days now.
my farm is not giving me molasses no matter how much i send them to the pound, grannys, mine or to my animals in 3 days ive gotten one molasses.. what is going on ?
Can’t find cocoa beans!!! I explore all day and get ONE in I’m lucky… you’re making it impossible to complete the event!!!
Finding lots of cornstarch & have made 8 items. Not a single costume part yet!
I have had the same problem Susan. I have made 10 peach gummies and have not received a singe costume part. This event is impossible to complete. I am very disappointed with this game.
I am in my last three days and am having these me problem. Nine bags so far with no costume parts. Very disappointing after all the time spent on it 🙁

I am agreeing with everyone on this I have used keys I have earned to help keep going to open next animal been on pig for days just got it done and less then for days to get it finished. I am so pissed at this game. A friend got the tabby no help. And why should we use purchase earned coins to boost a game.
anyone know how to make a peach gummy? I want to stock up while i’m on the pig costume with 6days left, only getting cocoa from pier if i send both dogs with a “full crew”. Wish i would have understood fog sooner when getting rare items was going pretty easy.

i agree, it is impossible to complete. I keep getting granola bars and other items but no costumes…. Plus it takes forever to harvest a lemon tree. really………..
This is lame I have gotten a ton of cornstarch and made a bunch of gummys and have only gotten 1 Halloween part, it’s impossible to get the cat! So much time spent for nothing. You should have made it a little easier
What is the point of all the hard work & hours put in, when they won’t give the necessary ingredients to make the items needed for costumes? This is stupid, & frustrating, and IMPOSSIBLE to complete. Buck up Zynga!!! I won’t bother with future events if they keep doing this!! Will spend more time on Hay Day instead…
I jus did the last event and didnt even finish. zynga has made it impossible to finish any events and all the time and effort you put in and to get what nothing? you send ppl to the the glade and it doesnt even give you any chance to get anything. The halloween event coming up is going to be the same why bother when you can never finish or even get a fair go at collecting things and in the last event i made 18 baskets before i got anything so angry ????
